Who we are
This website is operated by Pride of our Footscray Community Bar Pty Ltd, Level 1, 86–88 Hopkins Street, Footscray VIC 3011, Australia.
For privacy questions or requests, email meet@prideofourfootscray.bar.
Information we collect
We collect information when you choose to give it to us, including:
- contact form details such as name, email address, enquiry type, and message;
- function enquiry details such as name, email address, preferred date, guest count, preferred space, and event notes;
- show proposal details such as producer or artist name, contact details, social links, show concept, cast, target audience, marketing plans, technical requirements, ticketing preferences, access needs, risk notes, and supporting files or links;
- Open Stage or artist enquiry details such as name, stage name, pronouns, email address, discipline, experience, links, and act information;
- employment enquiries or CV details you email to us;
- basic technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as request metadata, rate-limiting signals, browser type, device information, and approximate traffic patterns;
- analytics events for site usage, form submissions, ticket clicks, and similar website interactions where analytics is configured.
Pride Perks and membership signup
The Pride Perks page links to a Pintuna-hosted membership signup flow. Pride's website does not directly collect membership details through that page and does not process membership payments on this website.
If you use the Pintuna signup flow, Pintuna may collect membership details such as your name, contact details, selected plan, membership details, and date of birth. Where a paid membership plan is selected, Square payment handling may be used by Pintuna or Pride's connected payment systems. We may use membership information for venue operations, check-in, member support, newsletters, updates, and administering Pride Perks benefits.
Merch store
The merch page links out to a store hosted by The Print Bar, who print and post Pride merch. Pride's website does not take merch orders, collect delivery details, or process merch payments.
If you buy something there, The Print Bar is the seller and collects the details needed to fulfil the order, such as your name, contact details, delivery address, and payment details. Their terms and privacy notice apply to that purchase. Pride receives sales and commission reporting for the store, not your payment details.
Meta and Instagram data
We use a Meta developer app to access content from the Pride of our Footscray Instagram account so recent posts can be displayed on this website. The website does not offer public Facebook or Instagram login for visitors.
If you authorise the app as an administrator, tester, or connected account holder, we may receive the Meta or Instagram identifiers, access token, media IDs, captions, media URLs, permalinks, thumbnails, and timestamps needed to fetch and display authorised Instagram content. We do not sell Meta or Instagram data.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and manage bookings, functions, performance, and employment conversations;
- send enquiry details to the Pride team by email or store operational submissions in our content system where the website flow requires it;
- operate, secure, debug, and improve the website;
- measure aggregate website performance and campaign effectiveness;
- display authorised Instagram content on the website;
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting, venue-safety, and platform-compliance obligations.
Service providers
We use service providers to run the website and venue operations. These may include hosting, email delivery, analytics, content management, ticketing, payment, membership signup, and form-processing providers. Current examples include Vercel, Sanity, Resend, Plausible, TryBooking, Pintuna, Square, The Print Bar, Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Meta services. We only share information with providers where it is needed for the relevant service or lawful operational purpose.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, for venue and business administration, or to meet legal, accounting, safety, and platform obligations. If you ask us to delete information we hold about you, we will delete or anonymise it unless we need to retain it for a lawful reason.
For Meta app data deletion, use our user data deletion instructions.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, including show proposal details, by emailing meet@prideofourfootscray.bar. You can also manage app permissions through your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards for the website and the services connected to it. No online system is risk-free, so please do not send highly sensitive information through general website forms unless we specifically ask for it.
Changes
We may update this policy when the website, our operations, or platform requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
